PaceBoard Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

PaceBoard is an activity recap maker operated by OpenPixel Labs Inc. This policy explains what information PaceBoard handles, how the optional TikTok connection works, and how to contact us.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, support messages, product settings, captions, titles, and content you choose to create, save, prepare, or publish through PaceBoard.

PaceBoard activity drafts, generated recap details, share settings, and library items are stored in your browser local storage. They are not sent to our server unless you choose a server-backed feature such as preparing photos for TikTok publishing.

When you connect TikTok, we request the permissions needed for the submitted PaceBoard flow: user.info.basic for Login Kit account authorization and video.publish for Content Posting API Direct Post. TikTok may provide account identifiers and basic profile information, and PaceBoard also queries creator posting information such as available privacy options and comment availability. OAuth tokens are stored on our server infrastructure and are not placed in browser local storage.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide product features, render recap photos, operate account connections, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

For PaceBoard, we use the activity details you enter to render five recap photos in your browser. If you click to prepare a TikTok post, those five generated images are uploaded to hosted URLs so TikTok can retrieve them for the post you authorize.

We do not sell PaceBoard activity details, TikTok account data, OAuth tokens, captions, or generated recap photos. We do not use TikTok account data for advertising targeting.

TikTok Publishing

If you publish from PaceBoard to TikTok, we send TikTok the post title, caption, selected privacy level, comment setting, music setting, commercial disclosure choices, cover image index, and the five hosted photo URLs. We query TikTok creator information so the share screen can show the privacy choices and posting settings available for your connected account.

PaceBoard does not post automatically when you connect TikTok. Publishing requires your selected destination, connected account, privacy choice, posting confirmation, and final publish action.

Cookies And Local Storage

We use secure HTTP-only cookies for TikTok OAuth state and session handling. PaceBoard uses browser local storage for drafts, current share settings, and the local recap library.

Third-Party Services

Some features depend on third-party platforms, including hosting providers and APIs such as TikTok for Developers. Your use of those connected services is also subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the product feature, support request, security need, or legal requirement. Hosted PaceBoard photos are created for sharing and are not intended as permanent storage. You can clear local drafts from your browser, revoke TikTok access in your TikTok account settings, and ask us to delete account connection data by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account connections and hosted assets. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid entering sensitive personal information into captions or recap fields.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
